Only citizens registered on the Electoral Rolls are eligible to cast their votes.

You have to stamp a mark on anyone symbol among so many symbols available on the ballot paper. Keep in mind that your vote may be canceled if you do not mark clearly on one symbol or mark on two symbols. In this way, your vote will be of no use. However, after the correct stamp mark, you will put two ballot papers in two separate ballot boxes one for provisional assembly candidates and one for national assembly candidates.

You should check your name in the voter’s list which is available from the Assistant Election Commissioner/Registration Officer. Check to see whether your name is on the list. Once you have confirmed you are registered, you will be able to vote in the Federal and Provincial elections anytime.

Voters are able to cast their votes at specified polling stations according to their names in electoral rolls. As we all know that the election for both National and Provincial Assemblies constituencies are held on the same day, the voter is issued two separate ballot papers for each National Assembly and Provincial Assembly constituency.
