College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Headquarter, Karachi is organizing the 87th Comprehensive Basic Medical Science Course for FCPS-I candidates from August 2023 to September 2023 through Video Link to be held at Karachi Headquarter & CPSP Regional Centers (Hyderabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Islamabad & Lahore) simultaneously.
This Comprehensive Basic Medical Science Course for FCPS-I is useful for all the FCPS-I candidates who are appearing in 11 disciplines of the FCPS-I Examination e.g. Anesthesia, Dentistry, Diagnostic Radiology, Medicine & Allied, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Pathology, Psychiatry, Surgery & Allied, Community Medicine.
The course covers the topics of Anatomy, Physiology/ Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, and Its Subspecialties i.e. Chemical Pathology, Hematology, Immunology / Virology, Microbiology, and Parapsychology. The course covers the core knowledge of Basic Medical Subjects besides guidelines of the respective disciplines.
CPSP Karachi Admission 2023 in Basic Medical Courses
CPSP admits a Limited Number of Candidates in the Course on a First-Come, First-Served basis. Interested candidates are advised to register at the earliest by August 2023 along with a Bank Challan / Pay Order/ Demand Draft in the name of ‘College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan.
The Registration Form is to be submitted at the Department of Pathology CPSP Headquarter Karachi and Regional Center! Office. The details are as under:-
Admission Criteria:- The applicants will be selected on the basis of details provided in the application form, admission test, and interview. The application form can be obtained from the Department of Medical Education (DME), CPSP Karachi, or any of the Regional Centers of CPSP. The form can be downloaded from the CPSP website: www.cpsp.edu.pk.
Completed application form should be mailed directly to DME, Karachi together with the following documents. v Processing fees of Rs. 1000/- for Pakistani and $ 50 for International candidates to be paid as Pay Order or Bank Draft in the name of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (non – refundable).
- Attested photocopy of MBBS/BDS degree
- Attested photocopy of any Post-graduate degree
- Attested photocopy of valid PMDC certificate
- Attested photocopy of National Identity Card
- Experience certificate from the institutions
- Four passport size colored photographs

Department of Medical Education – HCSM Unit College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan 7th Central Street, D. H. A., Phase II, Karachi – 75500. The last date for receipt of the application is November 05, 2023 . No application will be accepted after this date.
Entrance tests for eligible candidates would be administered in 2023 at CPSP Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta. Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. The date will be announced at a later stage. The final selection will be intimated to the successful candidate by the second week of December 2023 .
