Directorate of Staff Development, Punjab Announced the USAID Associate Degree In Education ADE Admissions 2023 in the Pre-Service teacher education program by USAID. Therefore, the Program Associate Degree in Education (ADE)  in the three-year 6-semester program – led to B.Ed. (Hons) Elementary. Also, Associate Degree in Education (ADE) is offered by 20 colleges all over Punjab and helps together USAID.

Career options after ADE:

• Initiate career as an Elementary school teacher
• Continue further education to earn a 4-year B.Ed. (Hons) Elementary degree
• Take admission in the master’s program as per university policy

General Information:

Basic Information: The application should contact their nearest GCET to gather full information on the admission schedule. All GCETs are following the timeline of their affiliating universities.

Age limit: Maximum age of fresh candidates is 22, however one year of age relaxation can be expended by the Principal in consultation with the college committee. No age limit is for in-service teachers/semi-government organizations/teachers.

Merit lists: The first, second, and third merit lists with fee deposit schedules will be displayed at prominent places in the respective GCETs. However, admissions will be strictly on merit. Also, preference is available to fresh candidates.

Documents verification: The candidates will be required to bring their original documents for verification before admission at their respective GCETs. Seats will be reserved for quotas as notified by the Government from time to time. However, the leftover seats will be filled in through open merit.

Admission Criteria:

1. Qualification; Minimum FA/FSC A Level or equivalent recognized qualification with 2nd Division
2. Age limit; 17-22 (+1) years
3. Merit Calculator; Candidates having passed the Intermediate FA/FSC or equivalent from Government recognized/affiliated institution with at least second division are eligible for admission.
4. Following attested documents must attach with the application:

6. FA/ FSC (Intermediate) or equivalent certificate
7. CNIC Copy of the candidate
8. CNIC of the father of the candidate
9. Copy of domicile
10. Four color passport size photographs (attested)
