Hong Kong University Of Sciences And Technology HKUST Delegates Visit To UCP Lahore
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) visited to the University of Central Punjab UCP in the month of December 2023 and They also talked about the admission requirements and scholarship availability for Masters and Ph.D. programs in the faculty of engineering of HKUST.
They gave a brief presentation on Hong Kong, its culture, its climate, and the living cost. Mr. Tin Yu Wang, Director of Professional program and External Development, and Miss Margaret S.C Chou, Assistant Director of Research and Graduate Studies Administration of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) visited UCP on 3rd December 2023.

They gave a brief presentation on Hong Kong, its culture, its climate, and the living cost. They convinced students that Hong Kong is one of the cities which provide a suitable survival environment for international students, especially Pakistanis.
They also talked about the admission requirements and scholarship availability for Master and PHD programs in faculty of engineering of HKUST. They were very enthusiastic regarding admission of Pakistani student. They assured students about guaranteed job visa after completion of their education in Hong Kong.
After brief question and answer session with students, HKUST delegates had a meeting with the honorable Pro- Rector UCP, Dean UCP-Business School and Dean I.T where they talked about faculty exchange program and various options to promote collaboration amongst both universities.
At the end of visit they had a brief tour of engineering labs, where they appreciated the availability of state of art engineering equipment’s facility for students.
